Summer Style with Mac & Mia
Hallelujah - the summer is FINALLY underway and we absolutely can't contain our excitement in the Brann household. Today's post is all about Mac & Mia - an awesome curated children’s clothing service - because if you're like me you instantly think of a closet refresh when summer rolls around! Pre-baby, I would spend hours shopping to curate the perfect capsule wardrobe for the season. These days? Picture me sitting on the floor of Arya's closet surrounded by outgrown clothing, snow gear, and not a pair of shorts in sight. I had nothing to pack for an upcoming vacation, but thankfully the team at Mac & Mia swooped in to save the day just 2 weeks before our annual trip to Disney World. Check out our favorites from Mac & Mia below, as well as a special gift just for The Mom Life community!
The concept with Mac & Mia is easy and you don't even need a subscription! Think super cute boutique clothes for the kiddos, shipped right to your door for free, no mall required. All you do is sign up online and create a style profile for sizes newborn - 10Y! That connects you with your own personal stylist who curates a box for you. Here's how it works, any time your little needs some new threads:
- Request a box (you can mention special notes for your stylist like "we're going to Disney" or "would love a mix of tops/bottoms for camp", etc)
- Your stylist hand selects 8-12 unique clothing items and accessories and ships em to you at home
- Once you receive your box, take up to five days to make your choices. Keep only what you like and send the rest back!
- Choosing to keep two or more items in your box? The $20 styling fee is waived. Choosing to keep everything? You’ll receive a 15% discount off your total purchase.
Our favorites were the light blue T2Love Romper, adorable Girl Gang Tee by Tiny Whales, and this super lightweight Star Bomber Jacket from Blu & Blue. Above all else though, I am obsessed with Mac & Mia because they aren't a subscription service! They aren't going to send or bill me for clothes Arya doesn't need yet, the stylists do a great job of really getting to know your families style, and shipping is fast and always free both ways. Perfect for that dreaded week (we all know it) where you discover your child has had a growth spurt in their sleep and NOTHING fits lol
Mac & Mia is a no brainer for us, but what really got me was how enjoyable the experience was for both Arya and I. Even the unboxing and trying on! There's nothing worse than negotiating with a toddler but Arya was super engaged with every item I picked up. Why? Because Mac & Mia sends every box with a set of fun paper dolls (complete with adorable clothing / accessory stickers) for free. Genius! Arya had so much fun "dressing" her paper dolls while I quickly tried things on her. A company who makes it easy to style your kids and who also provides built-in entertainment? Stop it - just take my money!
