Nursing Necessities: NursElet (+ Giveaway!)
Welcome to the second installment of "Nursing Necessities"! I am so thrilled to share a teeny-tiny breastfeeding must-have that's making such a huge impact -- my NursElet nursing bracelet. NursElets are a hands-free solution for nursing moms, created and crafted by a fantastic mom of two and you're going to LOVE them (and you might get one for free if you enter our giveaway below)!
I wish I had discovered this NursElet nursing bracelet a LONG time ago (particularly in the early days of breastfeeding when trying to remember which breast I last fed from). Good news is that I probably need it now more than ever anyway! When first learning the ins and outs of feeding Arya, I only felt comfortable wearing a nursing bra and / or a nursing tank for fear of not being able to free the boobs for a screaming baby fast enough! Once I became more comfortable though, I realized I was SO beyond ready to throw caution to the wind and start wearing normal clothes again. That's where these little beauties come in! No matter what kind of top you're wearing, NursElet helps to secure your shirt up and out of the way while feeding baby. They simply wrap around and secure by velcro, and come in so many fun prints / patterns!
Since using my NursElet, I've noticed that I spend less time worrying about wearing "nursing friendly" outfits, and even less time hunched over trying to see if Arya is latched properly. It's been a back pain lifesaver, and I love that I can simply slide it over when she's ready to switch sides. And when we're done, I just pop it on my wrist as a quick "which side" reminder for the next session. It's also clutch while pumping, makes using my nursing cover even simpler, and is machine washable. Can I say enough good things about these?! I'm obsessing, I know, but it's SUCH a genius idea that every nursing mom could use, so share the NursElet love!
