Easy Toddler Activity Buckets
This past Saturday offered a small sneak peek of summer weather here on the East Coast, so Arya and I got outside for some fun using our favorite toddler activity buckets! Though keeping play essentials in a bucket is not a groundbreaking concept, and it's the best way to get us out the door quickly to burn off some energy before nap time.
When the weather is warm we love sneaking off together for impromptu one on one play dates, and having a few essentials ready to go in an easy to carry bucket is a great time saver. I used to use a Ziploc bag for toting around things like chalk, snacks, or crayons until I found the cutest plastic buckets from Target.
They work so well as a catch-all for everything you might need to bring for a quick playground trip, a walk around the neighborhood, or even just playing in the backyard. We keep a few of these on hand to store our playground snacks and toys, and I love being able to stash my keys, phone and a pack of wipes in there too. Nothing better than finally being able to leave all the stuff we moms carry around, at home for once!
