Baby Update: Week 5

So, we've made it to week 5 of the next bloggerella baby update! All is well in the Brann household this week except for, you know, lack of sleep. People warn you about that when you bring home a newborn but they rarely ever reference what lack of sleep does to the baby as well. Daytime naps have started to change as she's staying awake for longer periods of time to give us smiles but that's a slippery slope, as I've learned. TIP: Keep baby awake for too long and it's harder for them to settle for a nap! Also, I kind of think we're feeling a little more ballsy as of late. We've ventured a little further from home, whether it's via a walk with the stroller or for a drive with the car seat. Of course, we've had very public car meltdowns and stroller meltdowns but I've learned that the more meltdowns there are, the more equipped you become to handle them. Guess practice also makes perfect when it comes to newborn care!
